Reporting a crime 

If you’ve been a victim of crime, you can report a crime in several ways:

  • If it’s an emergency and the crime is still taking place, call 999 and ask for the police.
  • If it’s not an emergency, call 101 the police non-emergency number
  • You can contact Crimestoppers anonymously with information about crime. Call 0800 555 111 or report in online at  https://crimestoppers-uk.org/

Support for victims of crime

If you’ve been affected by crime, there is support available to you. Anyone affected by crime in England or Wales can contact the national Victims’ Information Service, a free service that will put you in touch with support services in your area, and tailored to your needs.
