Our View – General Election Result

Following the General Election result, the National Rural Crime Network has given its view on the priorities for the new Government.

Julia Mulligan, NRCN Chair, said:

“The new Government must prioritise rural Britain which has been ignored by those in positions of power for too long. We note that the Conservative Party’s manifesto included a commitment to ensuring ‘additional police resources to tackle rural crime’ and will now be holding the Prime Minister and Home Secretary to that promise. We will be watching closely to ensure it is delivered.”
