NRCN seeks research partner to help count the true cost of rural crime

Following the success of the largest rural crime policing survey in 2015, the NRCN is looking for a research partner to help them repeat the exercise and identify what progress has been made and what still needs to be done.

In 2015 the National Rural Crime Network undertook what is thought to be the largest rural policing survey ever undertaken, which led to significant changes in rural policing across England and Wales.

Two years on, the NRCN would like to find a research partner to replicate the 2015 survey. Repeating the survey will allow identification of any changes over time and any progress which has been made towards addressing the issues which those who live or work in rural communities told us were important in 2015.
